About TeacherPH

TEACHERPH is a professional learning online community of teachers and for teachers. We are a team of teachers of different specialization and position from different parts of the Philippines. Our aim to empower teachers in the Philippines is well-defined by one word: SHARE. So what are there to share?


Through our Facebook Group and Blog, we want teachers and those who aspire to be one to share one another’s experiences and stories to further inspire the coming generation of nation’s builders.


To further enhance the craft of the teachers, we provide teaching materials and educational resources that help teachers and students share more applied and available information to their colleagues. We also give updates on the what’s and why’s of the field of education.


For teachers’ voices to be heard, we give the teachers around the country a chance to express and exchange their opinions in a fair manner through the use of online forums and discussion.

As a professional learning community, we aspire to give information and create teachers’ discussion online that requires continuous improvement, promotes collective responsibility, and supports the alignment of individual, team, school, and school system goals.

We want teachers to interact regularly and frequently to engage in collaborative professional learning to strengthen their practice and increase student results because we believe that TeacherPH’s learning community members are accountable to one another to achieve the shared goals of the school and school system and work in transparent, authentic settings that support their improvement.

The participation of every teacher in all educational discussions here on TeacherPH advances the goals of the whole country’s educational system. Communities of caring, analytic, reflective, and inquiring educators collaborate to learn what is necessary to increase student learning. In TeacherPH’s learning community, members exchange feedback about their practice with one another, visit each other’s classrooms or work settings, and share resources. Learning community members strive to refine their collaboration, communication, and relationship skills to work within and across both internal and external systems to support student learning. They develop norms of cooperation and relational trust and employ processes and structures that unleash expertise and strengthen the capacity to analyze, plan, implement, support, and evaluate their practice.

Our Story

It all began when the two opinionated fourth-year high school students of Antipolo National High School named Mark and Roselyn watched a documentary film about the terrible conditions of the students and teachers in the remote areas of the Philippines. The two have since then exchanged their views on the importance of the educational system of the Philippines. They were so passionate about the field that they promised to join someday and even create a publication about the critical issues in the country.

To make the story short, the two kept communicating online after graduation and kept exchanging views on different issues. In 2010, Mark created Astigtayo.com which is an online forum of Filipinos in and out of the country. The website tackled different issues concerning the situation of the Philippines and gathered almost half a million followers. Rmae also published articles on Astigtayo.com voicing out the trends and concerns in the field of teaching.

As many members of the forum supported the stimulating articles written by himself and Rmae, Mark decided to turn down the website and started a new one.

TeacherPH was then born on October 17, 2014. From then, it started getting attention from teachers nationwide. TeacherPH was able to provide information for teachers published on the Department of Education’s website. It also began to connect the teachers nationwide via online forums. The news and feature articles published on the site are based on the different opinions and concerns voiced out by teachers nationwide.

Seeing the potential of the website as an online professional learning community, Mr. Francis Kenneth D. Hernandez, CAR-PhD, joined the team in 2016 and is now working as the administrator of TeacherPH to continuously voice out concerns and help teachers and aspiring ones grow in their field.

Now, TeacherPH is known as the fastest online professional learning community for teachers and by the teachers. Hundreds are joining the online forum every day, and thousands of teachers meet dynamic people like them every day.

Recently, TeacherPH was featured by United States-based websites for its excellent articles about the teacher protection policy act.

Meet Our Team

Mark Anthony Llego.

He is the brain of TeacherPH. Growing up being surrounded by educators, a passion for education has grown in him. Mark spends his time writing and spreading online articles about the educational world. He likes emphasizing important political issues that involves issued on the educational system of the country.

A web expert and a computer genius, he has helped thousands of teachers across the country access information about their field and has made and is still making it possible to connect teachers across different regions for them to share their ideas essential to the development of their instruction and supervision skills. Some of his articles about teaching has been spread abroad and has been featured on different educational websites in the United States.

Mark Anthony Llego


Roselyn Mae Lanuzo.

A co-founder of TeacherPH. A full time educator and a full-time traveler. She finished her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education Major in English in TIP-QC and is now pursuing two master’s degree in Singapore and in the Philippines. She makes full-time studying, travelling and working at the same time possible through her awesome time management skills. She has written numerous articles comparing the educational systems of the Philippines and its neighboring countries. As a language teacher, she promotes the importance of reading. In fact, she was given an award and a certificate by Scholastic Publishing Company last 2014 in recognition of her effort encouraging her students to read well and to read better.


Lito Palomar.

He is the administrator of TeacherPH Facebook Group. Lito A. Palomar acquired his Master’s Degree in Curriculum Studies in UP Diliman and Educational Management in URS Morong. He is currently taking up his PhD in management in Philippine Christian University. He also acquired a Diploma in Curriculum Course Design in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia via a full scholarship from the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme. Mr. Palomar is currently an Education Program Supervisor in DepEd Antipolo, a national trainer and writer of K-12 Teacher’s Guide and Learner’s Modules and Member of Technical Working Group on various DepEd Policy Formulation activities.


Margarita Galias.

She is the administrator of TeacherPH Facebook Group. Margarita L. Galias began her career in education as a high school math and physics teacher in Immanuel Lutheran High School in Malabon City and Manila Central University, Caloocan City before serving as a public school teacher in Sorsogon City in 1995. She was a university scholar and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Education, major in Math-Physics from De La Salle Araneta University. She also holds a master’s degree in Management, major in Administration and Supervision from Sorsogon State College. She is now currently employed in Mercedes B. Peralta Senior High School as a classroom teacher and a guidance counselor designate.


Jhucel Del Rosario.

He is the happiness ambassador of TeacherPH, elementary teacher, creator of FaceBook Page: Ang Masayahing Guro, Artist at GuhitPinas.


Richilo Laceda.

He is the administrator of TeacherPH Facebook Group. RICHILO L. LACEDA – a Classroom teacher handling Grade 6 pupils and School Alternative Learning System Coordinator in Juan Sumulong Elementary School, Division of Antipolo City.
